Playing the long game
How I Work…
I take a relationship-first approach, building trust and momentum over time rather than chasing quick wins.
I start by listening and asking curious questions — sensing where an idea's real potential lies before I start co-designing strategy around it.
I focus on symbiotic relationships where everyone benefits meaningfully, creating collective impact that is stronger together.
Who I Want To Work With…
I partner with philanthropic foundations and mission-driven institutions who back ambitious, breakthrough ideas. Especially the ones that don't yet fit neatly into existing funding categories.
I have a particular focus on supporting women leading bold research and cultural initiatives, whose work is often deprioritised in resourcing — not for lack of merit, but because of capacity gaps and systemic barriers in how ideas get funded.
I bring the instinct to spot what's emerging before it has a name, and the relationships and rigour to help foundations back it with confidence
What Makes Me Different…
I bring a creative lens honed over twenty years in arts and culture, letting me spot stories, connections, and pathways that others often miss — whether inside a research question or an emerging cultural movement.
I bring trusted relationships, built over years in good standing across academia, philanthropy, media, and the arts. Drawing the right talent and expertise to the table quickly, because people already trust why I'm asking.
I offer an outside perspective grounded in inside knowledge — deep experience with both academic rigour and the priorities that drive philanthropic and institutional partners.
I use strategic storytelling to translate complex or early-stage ideas into compelling, fundable narratives — for the partners funding the work, and the communities it's meant to serve.
