Playing the long game
How I Work…
I take a relationship-first approach, building trust and momentum over time rather than chasing quick wins.
I start by listening and asking curious questions, building alignment as I co-design strategies informed by research and a holistic understanding of the stakeholder ecosystem, including potential partners.
I focus on symbiotic partnerships where everyone benefits meaningfully, creating collective impact that is stronger together.
Who I Want To Work With…
I support female academic leaders leading institutes or centres at research-intensive universities whose ambitious pursuits and breakthrough ideas are often deprioritised for resourcing – partly due to a lack of capacity and to systemic barriers in how research gets funded.
What Makes Me Different…
I bring a creative lens to academic research, drawing on twenty years in the arts and humanities to spot stories, connections and pathways others often miss - making research more fundable and impactful.
I offer an outside perspective grounded in inside knowledge, helping academics uncover new and overlooked angles on their work while deeply understanding research rigour and external partners’ priorities.
I use strategic storytelling to translate complex research into compelling narratives that resonate with partners, funders and the communities the study is designed to benefit and serve.
